Is it possible the port for the ethernet cable is faulty? or could it be (nervous swallow) a software or internel problem?
When i try to connect safari just shows- you are not connected to the internet…

these should help you some. i have always had great help with these links i got an ibook g4 and know that you can sometime have troubles with them
